REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 2012 BOYS LAX FEST
We would like to invite you to participate in our 4th Annual L.I. Lax Fest Tournament being held at Farmingdale State College, Farmingdale, New York on June 23rd & 24th. In 2010 we had over 215 boys teams participate. We are extremely proud of the growth of the Tournament and continue to work hard attracting top programs from across the country. We have hosted teams from New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Texas, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Canada.
This year we will also host our 2nd annual girls Tournament at Farmingdale State College, Farmingdale New York on July 15th. In our first year we had over 40 teams participate. We believe this event will quickly become a staple in the girls summer lax season.
Farmingdale State College has proven to be an outstanding venue for all ages. It is the ultimate opportunity for upcoming lacrosse stars and their families to enjoy a terrific weekend of exciting lacrosse action. Recent upgrades to parking and the Turf Stadium have been completed, and will only add to a great overall experience. With over 15 fields located all at one facility the entire family can enjoy all that the Lax Fest has to offer. All players will receive a free three month subscription of Inside Lacrosse Magazine, and a free clinic sponsored by local players. All participants will have access to the Vendor Village which will include the best vendors offering merchandise and entertainment. In the past the Vendor Village has included great activities including a DJ, Dunk Tank, Bounce House, blow up obstacle course, Hamster Wheels, A full wrestling ring with professional Wrestlers, Monster Trucks, Mini Trikes, Lacrosse Specialty Vendors and various food choices.
Centrally located on Long Island, the guests will have easy access to many amenities. You can take a short trip to New York City on the Long Island Railroad to see “The Big Apple”. If you prefer some relaxation, you can visit our beautiful beaches along the Atlantic Ocean or one of the many East Ends North Fork Wineries. Families can partake in all of the excitement Long Island has to offer. Hotels for the event are less than two miles away from the College. The venue offers an assortment of local restaurants such as, Applebee’s, Chipotle, Ruby Tuesday's, Changing Times Sports Bar and various fast food restaurants for a quick bite to eat.
We are hard at work preparing the registration process to ensure that you can enjoy the total lacrosse experience. We hope you can join us this summer at Farmingdale State College.
